The Walk into the Past at Caboolture Historical Village

Last Monday the 16th of March, 3W and 3L went on an excursion to Caboolture Historical Village. We travelled by coach and arrived excited to learn all about Australia's past.

The day was jam-packed with interesting demonstrations and lots to see and do. Some highlights of the day included: a washing and wool spinning demonstration, the train ride and visit to the blacksmith.

We had a great day and were all very tired by the end!

What was your favourite part? What did you learn about Australia's past that you didn't know before?

  1. Johannas Grandma says that it sounds as if everyone had a fun time at the Historical Village. As well as learning so very much at the same time. I would like to see the spinning demonstration.

It was exciting to here the children were going to visit the historical village as times have changed since our grandmothers, grandfathers used to live before television computers etc As a bit older person this is one thing i like to see when we go to vintage shows with my father and mother i enjoy learning about the olden days
